Bristol's underground psych-art-trip-hoppers Pressplay were fronted by Helen (AKA Bangs) Stanley's vocals, trumpet and keys, with Greg White's drumming and Rich Magee's bass completing the dynamic trio.

They had three critically acclaimed self-releases and gained a celebrated live reputation, augmented, in part, by the band's history of collaborations with talented local visual artists who would often enhance the experience of Pressplay's live shows with stunning projections. They recieved further praise with their legendary 'The State of Play' shows when they were joined on stage by special guests.
